As I've come to the end of the Consumer Behaviour Unit, I've decided to look back at what I've learnt throughout the unit and pick out the top 3 most interesting things I learnt. Check them out below:
1) Learning about different Generations and their personality types
Before doing the unit, I didn't really understand how Generations are categorised and being able to finally understand this made me excited.
2) Learning how Psychology plays a massive part in Consumer Behaviour
Again before doing the unit, I had no idea that Psychology and Psychology theory links to Consumer Behaviour. I found it so interesting learning about Psychology also and how people's thoughts and behaviours can impact a choice etc.
3) Learning about the Marketing Mix in depth
Before doing the unit, as a class we covered the Marketing Mix briefly when learning the Marketing Principles unit. It was really intriguing learning how different areas help people decide how products are sold etc.
Overall, I really enjoyed learning about Consumer Behaviour and how it relates to Public Relations. I will be able to use this information in my career ahead of me and for the rest of my time at University.
