I Went To See Shawn Mendes In Birmingham...

On the 9th April, I was lucky enough to get the chance to see Shawn Mendes live for his own named album tour!

Incase you don't know already, I love to go to concerts and listening t0 music and these have been strong hobbies from a younger age. If you don't know who Shawn Mendes is then 1) Read on and 2) You're a bit mad...

Shawn in originally from Canada (the same as Justin Bieber), he's 21 and became noticed through Vine and Youtube (Back in the day when Vine existed).

Anyway, when the tour tickets were released, mum brought me and my sister tickets to go and then we started the countdown to going.

After our day in Birmingham browsing the shopping centre, we went to the arena to watch him and Alessia Cara (The Support).

Shawn's own named album is a masterpiece anyway but him live was really special. The concert had its personality with a beautiful rose which illuminated in the middle of the stadium to match the set and light up bracelets.

Bearing in mind Shawn had been off Beta Blockers 3 days prior to control his anxiety, his performance blew me away and it was just beautiful. Shawn Mendes is an incredible singer!

I also really loved how he played music from his older albums. This made the evening that little bit more special. The Coldplay cover of Fix You was also one of the most memorable parts of the concert.
