As I've now reached 25 blog posts on my blog, I thought I would take the time to reflect on whats gone well and what i've learnt about blogging.

So far, I have really enjoyed blogging. It's a great way for me to distract myself from student stress. I've enjoyed also writing content as part of my unit assignment as its allowed me to really understand what I'm learning about and looking at.

Running a blog is fun but can also be stressful. It can be time consuming especially if you have a due date for a post. However, I love a challenge and I can't wait to see my blog progress.

There are many things you should do to make yourself a good blogger. Here are my top 5 tips:

1) Be Consistent:

The more you post, the more your readers are likely to want to keep following you.

2) Quantity and Not Quality:

Your posts don't need to be essays. The suggested amount is 250-300 words in a blog post.

3) Have A Theme For Your Blog:

It makes it more professional if you have a colour scheme, consistent fonts and good quality images.

4) Don't Change The Content For Your Blog, Keep It The Same:

If you choose to make a blog about cars or makeup, keep it based on that. If there is more than one type of content, categorise it or keep to the some kind of pattern.

5) Reference Any Resources Which You Used For Your Content:

It proves to your readers your posting trustworthy content and you're crediting the right people.

It is also important to self promote to gain readers but don't get caught up trying to be an influencer than a blogger.

I hope you find this useful if you decide to become a blogger yourself.
