Beauty Bay's Colour Theory

So a couple of weeks ago I received an email from Beauty Bay. Their email was about the debut release of the 'Colour Theory' eye shadow palettes which dropped on the 13th September.
If you don't know anything about it or your just a makeup nerd, here's some information about them:
- They are cruelty free
- There are 6 rows in which are 6 steps of eye make-up
- They are pigmented and have no fallout
- They are Vegan
They come in 3 colours to reach all different types of audiences:
- Evolve
- Identity
- Origin
Since the PR launch that many bloggers went to including Sophdoesnails and Roxxsaurus, the internet went wild!
The colour theory palettes scored the internet and were advertised again and again through emails, press launches and social media sites including Facebook and Instagram.
The palettes were sold out on release day. That's how successful they were!
I think Beauty Bay were very strategic in their approach of advertising and PR for the new products.
Social media is the new 'word of mouth' in which I feel was beneficial to it being such a positive selling product.
